I have read the thread about the transfer of the maturing Santander Major ISA, I and probably many thousands of others gave instructions to transfer my Major ISA to my 123 ISA on the 2 May 2014 (I gave notice on the 6 April 2014). The transfer has not gone through and neither has my wife's has anybody had theirs transferred on time?

    Quite a few I imagine.
    I was told it could take up to 6 days. Why, when it's internal is beyond me.

    I called yesterday morning (only to follow up, the transfer request was made a month ago), and I was told it would be done by COB yesterday, but it's still sitting in the converted easy access ISA at the moment.

    I will wait and see when it happens, I have calculated the interest but will have to wait a year to see if it is paid from the 2 May as it should be:(

    Well I am the idiot of the forum,

    I did not scroll down far enough to see the upgrade option so now have the cash isa & the new fix rate isa, with all my monies in the cash isa.

    Applied for the fixed & it was showing on my accounts ready to go the next day, so some things do move fast.

    Just waiting to find out how to Transfer my monies between these two accounts.

    Wonder if my monies will get their before the OP's.

    :cry::cry::cry::cry:

    Applied yesterday for 'upgrade' around 10am, and it was all done by 4pm.

    Rather wary of giving long notice for things these days as systems don't seem to be geared up for it.

    Just checked mine and my wife's and yes they have been transferred and the ISA Saver closed. I did notice that I have lost a days interest at 2.3% so they didn't get back dated to the 2 May when they should have been transferred, I'm not sure I can be bothered to complain about what amounts to about £3.

    Has anyone who have recently opened their 123 2 yr FRISA used the online option to upgrade their matured Major ISA?

    If so, does this create a second 123 2yr FRISA or does it automatically transfer in into your recently opened FRISA?

    How do you know that you've lose the interest? Surely you've not received a payment between then and now.
