They are pretty but you could be creative and decorate some envelopes you already have in stock?;)Proud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474

Yes, that system is rather pricey just for the templates isn't it - pretty, but pricey!
Can you maybe print appropriate photos onto the face of envelopes, to suit the use of each one? That might be a nice way of doing it at minimum cost other than envelopes and printer ink?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just saying hello to another spreadsheet tinkerer, regularly 'playing with it' make you feel like you're really in control, doesn't it (does me anyway)?
I know EXACTLY what you meant by 'affordable debt' and thinking IN DEBT was only really if you couldn't keep up with it, but having been right to the brink of that, the many pennies dropped.
Great diary. Good luck with it all... and the divorce (I did a DIY one), just don't be disappointed when all you get is a printed letter from the court, I wanted a parchment scroll accompanied by trumpters, very underwhelmed!

ShirePiskie I occasionally have to ring people to inform them that their divorce has gone through and they are now legally divorced - I always make a point of checking on the file and if it's appropriate I do it by saying "Congratulations!" at the beginning - for those who just can't wait to have it confirmed, it makes it feel a bit more special I think! It really ought to be a bit more grand than it is, didn't it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Exactly, all the pomp and circumstance for getting wed and then just getting a letter in the post which, frankly, I could have printed off at home was VERY disappointing!
Of course I realise not everyone jumps for joy/ breathes a massive sigh of relief (me).Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Hellooooooo and welcome to my insanity room! :j:j
Yep...still waiting on the balloons, huge cake and 21 gun salute that signals my Decree Absolute!! :rotfl:
Meanwhile I had an indulgence today...I bought a Venti, White Choc Mocha, Extra Hot, Extra Shot, Skinny, No Cream, 2 pumps of white....for £3.60 out of my blow money. I was in work all day at a training event (I normally work from home) and they had LOADS of biscuits and lunch and tea/coffee so I pigged out for FREE! :rotfl:
Feel bad about the White Choc Moch...but it's my one treat when I go into the office, and whilst it would have put me over budget if I used grocery money, I did have £10 blow money left this month, so used that.

I should....but I do like pretty things to play with...I was racking my brain last night and nearly wore out google trying to find a UK version of the cash envelope system that was either paper or fabric or whatever....couldn't find anything for love nor money!
So I thought I should create my own...except I can't sew (yes I have a sewing machine lol) and my paper cutter things...expensive Big Shot Pro...only used once!:mad:....doesn't have the right die to make what I want.
Was even on my CraftArtist2 looking for a template, and NOWT!!
I know necessity is the mother of invention, and I should create something that suits my needs....but I'm a bit lazy :rotfl:2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)
