Tinkering with Plan B (vs. planing doors). We need a new bathroom door and the other upstairs doors are very scabby (single panel, hollow MDF)/don't close properly/bogging handles and painted over locks... I think we could get 5 nice shaker style MDF doors pre-primed fitted for about £300 - might be money well spent? No offence to FIL, but try to minimise time completing DIY with him0

Erm, Ed, to have five pleasant, matching doors pre-primed and fitted, that sounds like an absolute bargain!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

There's a couple of firms looking similar. I assume they basically buy no frills doors at trade prices and whack them in fairly quickly. To be honest, considering the nick of our curent doors, I doubt they could do too bad a job0

*Every* guy at the wedding that I spoke to had brought a hip flask, and a good few of the girls, so it's obviously the done thing
