Move all your breakables up a level out of reach NOW! They can go from getting upright and plonking back down in surprise to cruising around the room surprisingly quickly and always manage to grab the one thing you hoped they hadn't noticed.
I remember the older Gnomeboy marching towards the bin in a babygro to throw something away. Very cute; until I realised that he was about to throw away my housekeys:eek:MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

To think I winced about Mr Goldie's recent £395 dental bill.
I'd have collapsed in a heap if it'd been £1900.:(Early retired - 18th December 2014

Collapsing won't fix this one, so onwards and upwards :coffee:0

A work colleague also got some work done costing ££££'s.
We joked - they may have new gnashers but wouldn't be able to afford food to use them :rotfl:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Think we have found a plasterer, £280 for our second largest bedroom (walls and ceiling, cupboards and repairing all the craters). Seemed reasonable, nice chap
Nipped to Mr M for some beer, picked up a bottle of £9 for *£4*!
We may get outside for a few minutes with a cool drink, a lovely sunny day (well, it was, getting dull now).
Happy weekend0 -
Not bad - we just spent £330 having someone do our downstairs toilet, half a wall in our lounge, and a repair job on our ceiling from moving a light fixture.
Enjoy the sun (or remnants thereof)..I'm not a sun person really (burn too easily) but the short walk to the polling station was quite nice this afternoon.0 -
Seems very reasonable for both the plasterer and beer.
Happy weekend?? It's Thursday. :rotfl:2018 totals:
