  • Unfortunately it was a Sm3g, couldn't justify the extra £200 vs. steam cleaning. Anyway, steam cleaning is probably pretty green, justify justify :rotfl:

I've been looking at the burr coffee grinders and the only one that does the job and looks good is the Kitch3nAid one. But I can't justify the money on it...not yet anyhow....... :rotfl:
  • We can recommend this coffee grinder :)

Isn't 4k a sound thing rather than a cost? Saw a film at the cinema and I think it was touted at being 4k?

4K is a digital cinema spec. 4K TVs are a slightly reduced version of that, but they're infinitely more detailed than some of the older TVs. For example, some of the 1080i? TVs have 1080 pixels per inch of width. 4K ones have 3200? or so. Multiply that difference by the height of the TV and it should mean millions of extra pixels per square inch for a nice picture.

Not the biggest fan of TV myself, but appreciate a nice sharp movie picture and Mrs E will love it :)

We have a Sony Bravia too, but its about 5 years old. No plans to change yet, but we'd go for a 4K next time. But that won't be for several years yet- there'll probably be something else out by the time we get round to it
