Capping off a very expensive and tiring week with an oxtail and chestnut stew with baked potatoes, cavolo nero and some lovely Decanter gold medal winning red wine reduced to £5 in Mr M. Mrs E not even complaining about cooking time as it's her favourite

Hi Ed et al.
This moving and sorting stuff out is hectic, isn't it?
I've been here for about 1.5 months. I've done a lot but the amount of stuff still to be done is mindblowing!
Your dinner sounds amazing. Please send me a virtual plateful and I simply can't be bothered to cook - there's too much other stuff to be done! :eek:Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Isn't it funny how we respond to houses.0

Funny peculiar or funny ha ha?

A bit of both I think! When I was looking for this house (25 years ago), I looked at a house just like it across the road, in photos it looked fine, but when I went in it just didn't feel right. I looked at this house a week later (nearly didn't because of the other one), it was in much poorer state but it felt comfortable. Absolutely no logic to it at all. But the other one changes hands every couple of years!0
