giffgaff new policy on unlimited mobile internet - use it and possibly lose it !
Beware actually use it a lot and possibly lose it ! giffgaff new policy on its "unlimited" mobile internet offering -
"We think that most members would like to help us improve the experience on the network. For this reason, where a member is regularly behaving in a way which impacts you, we will drop them an email to let them know how a few changes could improve the data experience for the vast majority of members. This might include downloading large files overnight for example, or switching to WiFi when they’re at home or work during the day.
Where members are either not able or not willing to change a behaviour which impacts the data experience on giffgaff, we have a responsibility to make the situation fairer and protect the vast majority of members. This is particularly true at giffgaff, where we have been built on the principles of fairness and mutual giving."

Don't know whether it's just because I'm tired or something but what point is it you're trying to make here? :')0

There are plenty of threads on GG's forums about slow 3g data speeds. Perhaps they are trying to improve the situation, or at least stop it getting worse?0

Its not new, they have been kicking off heavy users for a long time.0

if your tethering for example this would effectDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Or they could just bypass their own T&Cs and just bar your sim without warning or notice. The 3G speeds are slooow.Beware actually use it a lot and possibly lose it ! giffgaff new policy on its "unlimited" mobile internet offering -

I tried the Gigabag from GiffGaff due to being informed that I wasn't allowed to tether my phone - I didn't know this before: we were waiting for internet to be installed at home and I needed to tether so I could use internet with my laptop.
Anyway, so I bought the Gigabag - omg such a waste of time and money... you can only have one bag at a time - so when I needed to use my phone for texts or calls, I was charged money. I've been used to £10 a month for almost a year, for 250 mins, unlimited text and unlimited internet, so being charged was a pain - I topped up credit to about £40
The internet speed was super slow, when it connected... mostly didn't connect until after 11pm - who wants to stay up late just to do work emails?
I've since gone back to the monthly bag, and will never bother with the gigabag again.0 -
