Courts deducting money from benefit

It's important to note that not being given leave to appeal by the original judge does not mean that you will not be able to appeal.
This is one of those things that confuses people:D
yes - you can appeal without leave of the court. You just have to show why there are grounds to do so, which is shown by a variety of documents drafted by counsel. I don't know if the documents in criminal law are different to those required for family law appeals though.
Which is why OP needs to get some legal advice asap!0 -

I know there is a time limit to appeal and i know i can still appeal if judge states i cannot. The courts have messed up with my appeal to which i predicted and they have apologised to me.
Yeah, sure the solicitors are there to defend you properly.Read my posts again and you will see what i told everyone about solicitors.
You have not seen my notes to my case and can't comment. You all comment on my case when you know nothing about it yet.Don't they call these hippocrites. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Blowfelt
No offence meant, but would you trust a lawyer that landed you in prison over a parking fine? Thought not.
You need proper legal advice as to the prospect of your appeal succeeding. Appeals can and do backfire.0 -

they also cost a fortune so it's important to get proper legal advice as to the grounds of appeal and prospects of success, otherwise OP will be in even worse financial trouble!0 -

I would rather go to prison than pay a fine for somthing i have not done.Fines are quashed if you go to prison that is why the courts,if right, are taking money off ppl's income. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Not from where you got yours if thats all you have to say.

there are some people on here genuinely trying to help you, but instead of taking on board that advice you are just writing nasty and insulting posts.
You're right that we don't know the details of your case - that's because you haven't told anyone what you have been convicted of or on what grounds. We only know which parts you choose to disclose.
If you don't want to take legal advice then don't. You won't successfully appeal your conviction without proper legal advice and you'll be in an even worse situation then you are in now.
Again, I wish you luck.0 -

I have not written nasty and insulting posts that didn't deserve it.Read everyone's post and not just mine before you comment and blame me.You are an even bigger tit.
There is alot of corruption in the justice system and you ppl are obliviouse to it,or are you.Just wait and see what justice you ppl receive if you every have to go to court.Even you goody two shoes will get rough justice.
All you ppl owt to get a live and understand what happens in the real world. Not from where you got yours if thats all you have to say.
You have not seen my notes to my case and can't comment. You all comment on my case when you know nothing about it yet.Don't they call these hippocrites.
Well there's three nasty and insulting posts that you've posted in response to people trying to help you.
You clearly aren't willing to accept any help being offered so it would probably be better for a board guide to close it down.0 -
No offence taken from anyone of you.I am only having my say which seem to offend ppl who want their say but i cant have mine.
You are also editing your posts after others have responded. You asked a question - yes the courts can attach your benefits to pay fines. You now have your answer.
If your attitude in court is as defensive and accusatory then it's no small wonder you don't get heard.0
