My mum loves the compost bags - they start to break down before she's filled them sometimes though so maybe it depends what you put into them!0

I recently bought a vegetable peeler so that the little monkeys could help peeling potatoes. But we've found that it is great for slicing cheese, no more chunks of cheese in sandwiches but nice slim slices - saving us a fortune on cheese and only cost £1.50 :rotfl:

The Lakeland catalogue has just come, including sale leaflet. No smiley can represent the level of temptation that is!
They are selling a jam making machine. Like a breadmaker but for jam.
I don't make jam, I don't eat jam - BUT IT'S A GADGET!!!!!
Logging off now to spend some quality time with the catalogueAlways another chapter0 -
Put your credit card down & step away from the !!!!!!
(ps, my breadmaker has a jam setting)0 -
I have resisted but keep logging on to their website - their summer sale has started - double temptation!0

My breadmaker has a jam making setting - but I could never get a decent set
The jam maker is by Tefal - you just put the ingredients in and press a switch.
And the sale leaflet - so many goodies!!! At least some of them look like stuff they won't be restocking and I've been after for ages!!! Oh hell. There goes the budget.Always another chapter0 -
Hate to say but I have just spent £125 on Lakeland stuff, as soon as I pressed confirm I realised I hadn't gone through Quidco - d'oh!0

I saw the jam maker this morning, too!
I've not ventured into the rest of the catalogue yet, though - it could prove expensive.Mortgage Free as of 03/07/2017 :beer:0 -
If I spend more than £60 I can get free delivery AND a free gift.
And if I don't order soon all the goodies may have run out
They have a strawberry slicer - who needs a strawberry slicer? Who thought that a strawberry slicer was a good idea?
(but I have a strawberry bush that I haven't killed yet and if I do get loads of strawberries... Oh hell.)
If I spend £60 I get free delivery, free gift and £2.40 cashback through quidco. That's over half the cost of the strawberry slicer...
I need to get a grip.Always another chapter0 -
Surely, hev, you'll need the strawberry huller too?
And, hey, have you seen the Cherry Super Stoner?0
