TSB current account - how long does it take to process application?

Hi everyone,

I've just applied online for a TSB current account and received a message saying that my application is being processed.

What is your experience? How long does it take to process an application?

I got an instant acceptance when I applied online. Within a couple of minutes I had my account number

Is this the new %5 one with no DD's?
2 per person, up to £2k each A/c.?

Just phoned TSB - the answer: it is taking up to 7 working days!

It can take up to 7 working days if they cannot verify you electronically to their satisfaction.

Many people do get accepted instantly online

I applied on Easter Sunday and I received a text and email today to say that the application had been successful. The email gave me the account details. I already have a TSB credit card with online access so I logged on and the classic plus account is now showing.
