I have been a LloydsTSB customer over the last 5 years and I still have my current account with Lloydsbank. Do you think it makes sense to write to TSB to highlight this fact and ask TSB to reconsider?Dear Mr XY
Thank you for applying for a TSB current account.
Unfortunately, based on the information you've provided, you haven't met our account opening requirements at this time. However, it may be worthwhile reapplying in the future.
If you think we’ve based our decision on incorrect information and you have any other details you'd like to provide, we’ll be happy to reconsider.

May be. I am also with Lloyds and as far as I am aware TSB cannot see any information held by Lloyds Bank.
I did put this to the test recently and did a search for a TSB loan and came up as 29 percent but tried it with Lloyds and came up as 4.9 percent. When I queried the difference the advisor in branch said its because you are new to us.
However had no problem getting a current account online with TSB.0
