Yes - unless they decide to cancel quickly (we are not sure if they have to pay if they drop it).

Addenda, just sorted them all out.

PCN No.1: POPLA sent, nothing received.

<EDIT> This was also the one that could have been settled for the 15 quid "goodwill" payment.

PCN No. 2: POPLA sent, won on GEOL but this morning I've received a letter from UKPC apologising and stating that "...We have investigated the appeal based on information submitted by yourself and can confirm that the Parking Charge has been cancelled..." This is, of course, bollox as I "won" in a POPLA appeal.

PCN No. 3: POPLA sent, no evidence from UKPC, appeal "won" by me.

PCN No. 4: This is the one where I didn't mention POPLA, got a reply with the rejection of my appeal to them (no mention of POPLA) and started the threatograms chain. Just two: a demand for £100 and a Final Demand (lots of big red letters for £100). This morning I got one from DRP demanding payment of unpaid parking charge of £160.

DRP have changed their logo to a scary red 'DRP' at the top - LOL!

So you are left with one to ignore - UKPC don't do court but if they ever tried, you'd have proof that identical ones were cancelled and that you won one of them at POPLa and would have won them all if they'd all gone that far.

So, just keep all those colourful threatograms from DRP and Zenith, in a folder. Search the forum to read about other people with this letter chain.

    I'm enjoying this thread :).

    Keep us posted born_3 please.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Why do they think they can get away with lying? We all know they have NO INTENTION of raising court action. :D

Well UKPC and DRP are rather cosy apparently - not sure they work at arm's length - allegedly - but really I don't have a clu e.
