It's never-ending isn't it, people scamming relentlessly.
Thursday I answered the phone to someone telling me that my computer had been hacked along with many other's computers and this was a call from Microsoft helping me to rectify the problem before all my banks were swiped of all monies.
He new my full name, address and email address.
He asked when I last logged into my bank accounts in the last wk then 2 wks, both times I told him I hadn't...he said I was maybe lucky then.
he asked me to turn my comp on and he would run me through the process of cleaning my system...lol
I went along with him confirming that I was following his instructions. lol I then informed him that he was a very, very clever person being able to do this process considering that my comp was not even turned on!! lol
He then said (well shouted at me) that as soon as I turn my comp on he had programmed it to cease working altogether as at Microsoft they treated security as an important issue!!!
With that I then had to tell him that it had actually been on all the time. He put/slammed the phone down.
Watch out for the phone call.
(wee smiles not working)
I've had that one before. Out of interest, was it an African/Jamaican accent? Various family members have had the Microsoft phone call and it always seems to be the same man!
I think I was in the middle of some work when they called, so I got very agitated and told him to FORK OFF and he was like "Sir, what do you mean?", so I told him it again but properly: F*** OFF. :T:T:T0 -

'Our love can last 1000 miles.....all the way to Hungary'
