Just wondering, if we want to price check items or check if they're included in the multibuy, is the only way to take them to self serve check out then pretend to have forgotten something after scanning and go back to shopping? This is what I did yesterday when price checking but I feel really self conscious about being watched :o Just wondered if theres a less conspicuous way ?

I'm thinking that there are probably other items in this 4 for £5 multibuy that are not labelled but scan through in the deal so I want to test some :)

I always take things to SS scan and void if there not in offer or not in a good enough offer :p
Don't let them bother you I get some amused looks sometimes but quite honestly I couldn't care less.. Once you've done it a few times it gets easier .
Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
    I have done reading too!
personally test's all her own finds

To top my day off I had a text from my bank about stopping card due to suspicious transaction. Someone tried to send money from my card via Western Union for £90 odd. Not even the usual phone top up first. Credit to bank as stopped transaction and phoned all other internet purchases this week to confirm details.
Annoying though as I only have the one card plus my 'Travel card' which I can not use in uk without stupid charge. They did say they could arrange for me to collect cash from a paypoint until new card arrives but bit of a hassle.
Very lucky that mum has come home so I have access to a credit card again. Didm't use while she was away as worried about cards on one account being used opposite ends of world.

I had only just learnt my card number off by heart as well. Right pain but should have new card by friday.

Just relieved CityLink will not be delivering it:rotfl::rotfl:

    It's never-ending isn't it, people scamming relentlessly.

Thursday I answered the phone to someone telling me that my computer had been hacked along with many other's computers and this was a call from Microsoft helping me to rectify the problem before all my banks were swiped of all monies.

He new my full name, address and email address.

He asked when I last logged into my bank accounts in the last wk then 2 wks, both times I told him I hadn't...he said I was maybe lucky then.

he asked me to turn my comp on and he would run me through the process of cleaning my system...lol

I went along with him confirming that I was following his instructions. lol I then informed him that he was a very, very clever person being able to do this process considering that my comp was not even turned on!! lol

He then said (well shouted at me) that as soon as I turn my comp on he had programmed it to cease working altogether as at Microsoft they treated security as an important issue!!!
With that I then had to tell him that it had actually been on all the time. He put/slammed the phone down.

Watch out for the phone call.

Yes I have done that but it makes me uncomfortable and I start thinking they'll wonder what I'm up to and start talking about me :o I think it's because I'm in there almost every day, I'm sure they must think I'm some kind of shopping addict :o I know I worry too much about what people think of me :D I don't know, maybe it's just me but I wonder, does anyone else think like this who is in the same store often or do you not worry about it  :rotfl:

I used to have a male sa comment everytime i used an apg, i just said oh they must have been on offer:D he dont even check them now and calls me love:rotfl::rotfl:
