Well with the article mentioning the Jammie Dodgers at 49p for M - not just yet folks (newspaper appears to be mentioning forthcoming prices):

Looks like my shopper bought in the wrong week - again!:( Most of those Yazoo milkshakes not helping the matter. (The matter of an APG voucher being available of course;).)

I do like people buying King Edward Potatoes and paying £2 for them though! Were £1.12 vs T a short while ago (T now showing £2.25). Now we have people buying them and paying £2:rotfl: - I had another one yesterday who also bought a pack at this price!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::(

Just to add .....my T shop....the till accepted all the odds and ends Finest ones against the meal deal...eg 70p off a Finest a Pie worked on the Filo parcels, the Finest cheese worked and a Finest side worked too bringing the £10 meal deal down to £7.60.

Also....before anyone mentions ....the Felix IS cheaper in A but I was happy to lose 88p on the PP.

I noticed [a number of things from the Sunday Mirror article but I'll pick one of them out] "Tesco said: “New lower prices on everyday products will permanently be held down.”"

    What, really permanent?

So, if the prices ever go up at any point at all at any time before the world ends...

Surely an inevitable lie at some future point, however long off, in the finality?

    Permanent
    Definition
adjective 1. existing perpetually; everlasting, especially without significant change
    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Permanently

Right...bookmark it folks, if those products should ever increase at any time in the future at all, you know when to get your complaint in!:rotfl:
(I'm assuming, of course, that the journalist or copy editor at the Sunday Mirror did ensure a completely accurate quotation in every way:rotfl::rotfl:.)

Permanent in their world is the same as Lifetime Loyalty Discount for Virgin Media or Unlimited for any of the telecoms or broadband companies.

It means until they change their mind/approach or think we have forgotten.

I really must visit Westfield Stratford. Is it far from the station as can get a direct fast train from here.
    V x

Not far from underground or overground VT :D

Especially the underground, it's right outside it. Minutes, tops.
