Doesn't provide us with any "news", in the sense of not something we didn't already know. However, I just found that whilst searching for "Asda" earlier - in order to get a.com up to look at the Munch Bunches.

:rotfl:This is interesting from the point of view that it shows, in the online age, how much stores need to, in those terrible words, "raise their game" if they are to compete with savvy online shoppers. Lest we (or people generally) search for their website and, instead of finding that straight off, we come across articles about them that are possibly adverse in nature. Sort of like we are searching for a company and, instead of finding them, we come across adjudications about them on an online complaints service or otherwise websites of people posting blogs that are unfavourable in comment to the company we've tried to find. Or our search for the company name, instead of getting the company website up, retrieves the latest Advertising Standards ruling against them:rotfl:!

Just to prove the point (over-egg the pudding Savvy:(), here's what I got coming up as first results from a Yahoo search for "Asda":

    Search Shortcut

    Asda News Search Results

    (My emphasis.)

Now, how good is that for a business to find a search for their name retrieves about how they will "devastate" a town centre as the first option?:(

    Afternoon all

Been sunny here but a chill in the air.
Did some watercolour in the garden this afternoon but not sure how happy I am with it.
I have been looking into having my works scanned so I can have limited copies made. :)

Has anyone managed to print their Starburst coupons out.
I keep getting an error message then it tells me I have printed maximum times.:(

I noticed [a number of things from the Sunday Mirror article but I'll pick one of them out] "Tesco said: “New lower prices on everyday products will permanently be held down.”"

    What, really permanent?

So, if the prices ever go up at any point at all at any time before the world ends...

Surely an inevitable lie at some future point, however long off, in the finality?

    Permanent
    Definition
adjective 1. existing perpetually; everlasting, especially without significant change
    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Permanently

Right...bookmark it folks, if those products should ever increase at any time in the future at all, you know when to get your complaint in!:rotfl:
(I'm assuming, of course, that the journalist or copy editor at the Sunday Mirror did ensure a completely accurate quotation in every way:rotfl::rotfl:.)
