Went to T's to do my weekly shop today and thought I would get some more of the pineapple gammon, as I realised the 2 I bought in Saturday were out of date when I got home.

Anyway I was horrified to see that the date on all of them on the shelf was 24 April:eek:

I asked an assistant if they had any more out the back, and of course they didn't, so no cheap gammon for me again this week:(

I think it's awful that they can have meat on the shelf a week out date, somebody clearly not doing their job properly!

If you don't have Saturday's receipt complain.
If you still have Saturday's receipt, complain even louder!

There's something definitely going on: just added 2 of those hams with 1 pastrami and no savings discount is coming up (despite both included in the deal online).

when I look at it the ham is in buy 2 for £5 and the pastrami is buy 1 get 2 cheapest free or whatever the wording was...
So my guess is you need to buy the pastrami as its dearer at £3.20 and you get the other 2 free but also the other discount is kicking in as well relating to the ham
