I dont start till sept but got myself some books and going to order software etc to have a wee practice on :)

Its so nice having you here hanging out x

Feels great to be back. The problem is I never get enough time. I throw the paper thread together in the morning before dashing off somewhere else (mystery shopping normally) Richard has another job on his website, but I have a feeling this is another wild goose chase, but if I don't apply I'll never know. The only problem is it is all based in London Euston. If I get anywhere with it I'm thinking of living down their just outside and traveling in each day. :)

That is really scary for future generations. :(

I know before I got a mortgage we splashed out on big holiday etc etc before being tied down with debts, how would that look on a bank statement.

I feel really sorry for those trying to get a foot on the property ladder.

I am glad I don't have the worry ever again. :o

We've been trying to move for a few years now as we don't all fit in this house. Severe debts have prevented us moving elsewhere unless we sell and rent.
I don't know if these new rules will help us or not.
Luckily I've kept a spending diary since 1st January 2013 so when we do try to get a mortgage I have lots of figures to bafffle them with.
Although they may think I've grown an extra head when they see how much I've spent on beans this month :rotfl:
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

I got my Merlin feedback back. The upshot was they were very impressed with the interview overall during the group tasks. However, they thought I did not come across enough and build up enough rapport with the others. They did however say they would welcome any application from me the future, which sounds promising.

Just imagine them looking at an Elite's statement that did loads of 99p H&M orders among other things. :rotfl:

I know all about not fitting in, in the 1990s me and Mr TS were stuck in a 1 bedroom flat with 2 children with over £20,000 negative equity. I hope things look up for you dipdap like they eventually did for me. ;)

As i was going through the checkouts with nothing but beans and bog roll i couldn't help wondering if the SA thought i was following some crazy diet :rotfl:

Then i got serious dejavu. Was there a toilet roll deal on at the same time as beans once before?

I was trouted with a trolley load of the Quilted Andrex from As when that was ridiculous price, they had to check they could sell them to me. :o :rotfl:

I fully intend to use my elite activities to practice spreadsheets and accounting etc.

    :T

we love excel sheets on the elite so any ideas for new ones are very much appreciated.

One that comes to mind is a comparison one - price of beans in relation to price of loo roll to see if beans prices fall when loo prices are high :rotfl:
