afternoon all. back from bangor had a cheap trip had 2 bodyshop cards so we got 4 soaps each £1 each spend, m and s 3 chickens 3 gammon joints 4 packs salmon fishcakes, used 2 £5 of vouchers and a £15 giftcard from a complaint spent £1 got some bits in debenhams from a really old giftcard that was a prize some where cant even remember where. then morrisons and used the sunplus £20 vouchers.
so lots of shopping and some treats and only spent £2 plus bus fare :T:T:T0 -
I saw this post by a 10wayer. Theory looks good to meHave I got this right?
Just checked on my supermarket and the Persil small and mighty is on offer at 3 for £10 at Waitrose.
On the last multiple deal for washing liquid on here, the 20% household discount came off the basic price (in this instance, £6,80).
So 3 x £6.80 = £20.40.
£20.40 x 20% = £4.08
£10 (offer) - £4.08 - £5.92
Then there is £1.00 back on shopitize.
This makes £4.92 for 3 x 25, ie 75 washes.
I know most of us have enough to last several lifetimes but maybe someone can make use of thisApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

My appointment is Tommorrow:(:o:(:o:(:o
Why didn't anyone tell me it's not the 29th today?
:rotfl:
Last month I went to the dentist. When I got there the receptionist said that my appointment was not that day.I said but I looked at my calender and I've got a appointment for today. She looked at me as If I was about 80 and I worried all the way home because I thought the appointment must have been for something else.
When I got home I checked my calender and February had dropped down on top of March.I felt like a right Dippy Dora.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Hi. Would I done my shopping this morning later than I actually did, then I might not have picked up Branston Beans. (More about this, doubtless, later.)
Just having to pop into town to go to the Bank (to try to catch before their closing hours:() - I think I might do a bit of a Morries 'price-look' to see if anything that might get mixed up later:D.
My last shop would have been, hypothetically, cheaper in Morries if I gone there and scanned the wrong items:laugh::rotfl:.
See you later. Not buying anything as, in theory, it's a no-shop day for me - woohoo!:j:)0 -
I'm sure this is old news, but the Thorntons continental boxes (long box ~450g) in T are a fiver but sel is £16 (at least in my T anyway)
eta, they've been moving these chocolates around the shop since Christmas and there seems to be a huge number of them (of course if they actually put £5 on the sel, they might actually sell some of them!)Final cigarette smoked 02/01/18

Weight gain 2018 8lbs :rotfl:0 -
Anyone else had problems with the £1 off voucher for Shreddies from the voucher thread?
I went to Morrisons* expecting them to be £1.15, as on their website, but they were priced, and went through, at £1.31. The blimmin voucher would not scan either and there was much huffin'and puffin' and teeth suckin' before they finally accepted it.
*It was a Morrisons Local....are prices different in the teenier shops? Got another voucher to use as well....will go to the normal big Morrisons next time I thinks0
