I also did a T v S shop and bought 3 packs of the healthy living mince,(the 5%fat one) as S are doing them on 3 For £10. My S never have these in stock but T do.:T

I had this in Asda a while back, having been trouted at the tills for using MOCs or a large APG or something. They suspended the transaction, and I was taken to the Customer Services with my trolley full of shopping to argue it out.

After about 20 minutes of arguing at the desk, I wheeled the trolley out to the car with the suspended transaction receipt, loaded up and went home. Only after I got home did it dawn on me that I had not actually paid for it all :eek:

So the next day I went back to the store first thing, with all my shopping, and went straight to the CS desk to explain the genuine mistake / circumstances and offered to pay there and then. Lucky - as the Manager (who I had argued with the day before) came over and said they saw me on the CCTV !!

Obviously, they accepted it was a genuine situation, laughed about it, let me pay and that was that. But goes to show, it is best to fess up, even for a genuine mistake, as things do get recorded and monitored.
