I will do Coupon Mad. AoD I'll try but I knew where I was parking and what the repercussions could be. Will not be doing it again.

But it's not 'illegal' nor a 'fine'! Even getting a Council PCN isn't ILLEGAL parking.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I suggest you just pay it if you can't be bothered to put a little time and effort into clearing this.
That will give everyone on here more time to help people who want and need it.
Paying up will only keep companies like this going longer. Maybe long enough to catch out your friends and family as well.

OK, I received the NTRK and sent an appeal to which I have now received a response. The postal address and name was right but the letter then refered to another person's name and the issue was also completely different (Not displaying a permit where actually this was private land). They did not supply me with a POPLA code in the letter and stated that I had to ring instead. I rang the office and the man wanted me to give an email address to send the POPLA code. I stated that I didn't want to give him my email so he said he would post one out (took my details). Have I done the right thing?

I posted on my previous thread but wondering whether I need to start a new one now that I am on the way to a POPLA appeal.

I'd try to get hold of that POPLA code soonest. Why not create a 'throwaway' email address via Google Gmail to use just for this PCN? Invent a gobbledygook user name.

No, please don't continue on this one because as time goes by your original will became separated by time and slipping back dozens of forum pages.

Anyone offering advice will often wish to refer to what went before in terms of advice already given and you can't expect them to go searching the forum every time for your original.

PM Crabman (forum guide) and ask that the threads be merged please.

Hi :hello: I've merged your threads together as it's easier if all the info is kept in one place. :)
