It was a coincidence. Daily fluctuations in airline prices - often changing from minute to minute.

If the explanation is that the airline was tracking your searches and upping the price because of it, then it should be easy for you to reproduce the result. So give a couple of concrete examples of searches that people can do themselves to verify the theory. Again, if the theory is correct it should be very easy for you to find.

Surely the simplest suggestion is to have all cookies automatically cleared each time you log off and then manually in between searches.
