Doing so will make no difference.
Prices may have increased due to impending sale.0 -
Happened to me a while back
Completely, and have had many examples myself.
For the last few years I have searched using Firefox but always and only ever book using Chrome.
Doubters will remain, but I have seen a price fall over $100 per person right after clearing cookies (Saudia)
Amazon also uses this tactic.0 -
There's no evidence that you achieved lower prices because you switched computers to buy tickets. It could just have been a coincidence.
People report this sort of thing all the time but it could just be to airline price fluctuations.Legal team on standby0 -

Read the example I gave-all of it!
And come back here with your explanation.0 -
I did read it, and there was nothing to suggest it wasn't a coincidence.
Really!
Surf net at work-price slowly goes up over several sessions
Go home-minutes after third session-same day
Book EXACTLY SAME FLIGHTS at original £500 cost.
Go back to work-minutes later-same day.
Check prices-STILL over £600+
Check prices following day-BACK to ORIGINAL. £500
Please explain:cool:0 -
In many cases, as with blindman, raising the price had the opposite effect. NO BOOKING!
Only when the price settled back to its original cost did the booking take place. They could lose a lot of bookings that way
Sidenote
I know that ebay group of companies use cookies, flash cookies as well as IP address among other methods to help prevent fraud. The technology is there so anything is possible.0
