hey there. just subscribed and following your progress.. all seems good.. am not brave enough to have a diary, but I do have a multitude of spreadsheets.
lots of fun haha..
your diary is nice and upbeat , keep up the good work and may the debt be gone in the future!:beer:0 -
Spreadsheets are fab!
Doesn't make me sad.
Stops my debt getting bad(der).
Thanks LMCD. I do try and keep happy in general. Don't tend to wallow, more flare up and rant then settle back down. I was a redhead as a child!!!
Today was an unexpected NSD today, which is fantastic. Was fairly miserable out so watched all the dancing from the front door and kept away from the funfair and stalls. Bonus!Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Ebay dress was waiting for me at work, looks lovely, although still have;t tried it on and we're off to Devon straight from work. Have a standby dress packed just in case it looks awful. It will cost be an additional 80p as I need to stop at the supermarket after work and buy some (own brand) febreezey stuff as it's obviously come from a smoking house. Bleugh. Is making my office stink even though my window is open (brrrr).
Have been trying to paint my nails at intervals during the day, so I look like a toddler has had a go at making me over. Groomed and polished is not a natural look for me!
I still have £10 and change in my purse after a NSD yesterday so the budget fr tonight's 'do' is £30 but I'll only need to take £20 out of the bank! A little apprehensive have have never been to the venue before, so have no idea what their drink prices will be like, but will only spend what I've got and leave my card in the B&B!Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Lovely lovely evening catching up with family, meeting two new third cousins and a really nice b&b with scrummy breakfast and oh so comfortable bed that makes me even more determined to get a new one as soon as possible.
Returned home with £14 in my purse. Great! Had to buy a couple of 'fresh' bits for food but had a £4.20 owed back price promise thingy from sainsbury's so actually only spent 83p.
Post waiting when I got back was two acknowledgment letters from Bank of Scotland who are investigating my PPI claims. These were for AA Finance so I presume they were the bank behind the finance.
Also need to follow up an eBay item not received despite being paid for over two weeks ago and was told was dispatched a week and a half ago. My first 'bad' eBay experience in many years. It's for less than £5 but is the principle of the matter. I've asked the seller to confirm the address it was posted to and if they have proof of postage, but not getting any response. This diary flows with an atmospheric air you get just before something really good is about to happen. Like a band/artist you love will be on stage in <10 minutes.
Very positive steps & I am glad you are so enthusiastic about the spreadsheets! Have subscribed! Keep it up!Sealed Pot Challenge:

Thanks StrugglingYouth. Am hopeful I'm part of the support act to us all being debt free and financially independent.
Reading a lot of debt free diaries, I know a lot of people struggle emotionally and mentally with the mountain they have to climb, and I've been there too. Walking to a second job, sobbing, not able to make sense of it all, but am in a much better place and the light at the end of the tunnel is bouncing off the walls rather than me!!
Today was another spend free day. Tada!
Am working my way through A Girl Called Jack's receipe book with this month's menu plan. Falafel tonight, which I have decided is one of my favourite words to say!
Bought some in-pot herbs from the supermarket at the start of the month. The coriander barely made it home before expiring and the basil has just met the same fate. Humph. Have decided to get a grow your own herb kit and hope they are more successful. Also a chilli plant as tend to buy a packet of chillus from the supermarket, use a couple then the rest rot away in the fridge. We don't have a garden but am also hoping to have a couple of grow bags for tomatoes in the yard. This could be interesting as my green fingers are more toxic than horticultural.Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Hi sp,
I've enjoyed catching up with your diary; all sounds like it's going really well.
I've just bought some seeds from the pound shop...it remains to be seen whether my 'mixed lettuce' will ever materialise. I think removing it from the box might be a good start!
Good luck with it all and have a good weekx

It's great, isn't it Worker Bee? Have you checked out her blog? There are lots of recipes on there too if you can't get the book right away.Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE
