I would second the Motorola Moto G , its a great phone for the price, £12.50p/month on Tesco ( o2 network ) for 500 mins , 5000 texts and 500mb data.
My two previous mobiles were the Galaxy S3 and the HTC One, and believe it or not, I much prefer the Moto G.
In answer to the original question ....the S3 is better than the S4 Mini.
You may prefer the Moto g but its not better then the S3
I have both but i keep going back to my S3 because it as a sd slot
better camera and video

Don't get me wrong the moto G is still the best budget phone on the market at the moment
