trethowans solicitors letter

I have tried to follow threads on these but am unclear what to do.
My husband is registered keeper of a car but was not driving at the time & can prove it by way of his clock card at work. Have had a letter from trethowans threatening court action for 'condition1 'vehicle not wholly in marked parking bay in restricted area (eg on double yellow or red line)' & saying its a Breach of Contract notice, so not entirely clear what the actual offence is.
The person driving the car followed an ambulance into aintree hospital. The relative in the ambulance had a heart attack & they were unsure whether she would live or die.
The person driving couldnt find a parking space and so left it on the end of the bays in a lined area (but with a blue badge in the window). Should they appeal to the hospital? Thanks
They should indeed COMPLAIN to the hospital and point out the mitigating circumstances, seeing as this doesn't go to POPLA and will likely go to court otherwise. So mitigation can work; they need to get the Hospital to cancel it immediately. These Trethowans cases are MUCH harder to defend seeing as it's a Solicitor and the NHS Trust themselves making the allegation from a position of some 'standing'.
The Successful complaints about PPCs sticky thread (in the second post by Crabman, as a link) has lots of successes reported when people complain to PALS PALs is explained, and there's a link there, in the sticky.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sounds like a good one for the local press too.
Sick of trying Bazster, even after they ticketed someone who rushed to hospital when their son was dying. Even sent the paper and local radio the FOI information regarding the huge amounts of money paid to Trethowens.

Daily fail did a piece on compensation claims paid out by Aintree, and I sent them info on the cost of these claims, again no response.
I think it's time for a new FOI asking for the amounts paid to Trethowens for last two financial years. My last £120,000 one is getting on now.

HELP! I REALLY NEED HELP NOW GUYS PLEASE.
I rang Aintree Hosp this morning. The guy on the phone said he couldn't help me. They can't do anything about parking fines & solicitors letters0 -
Then he was lying. Aintree employ the solicitor and the solicitor HAS to follow instructions from the client ( on the assumption that the instructions are lawful ).
I would find the details of the CEO of the trust that runs Aintree and get them involved.
Phone back and demand they cancel the invoice - don't ask. Explain to them that, should it go to court, you will insist Aintree have to attend."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Since they are clearly as shifty and untrustworthy as any PPC, the same advice applies as for PPC's in my opinion: keep it all in writing. I'd love to see them put it in writing that Trethowan's are not acting under their instructions.Je suis Charlie.0

I have written to the CEO of the trust. Lets see what happens now0

What happened with PALS? Not 'the guy on the phone'. You need to complain to the Facilities Manager or PALS and tell them you have also written to the CEO of the Trust.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
