I'm quite small and I did covet some of the younger girls underwear in Debenhams when I was sale shopping for my toddler last week! Lots of lovely colours and they looked really soft. It is located in the children's department though, perhaps why you can't locate elsewhere?

Primark do some really nice first bras - I have bought my daughter a good selection from several shope - and she likes her soft primark bras the best (have trouble getting them for washing to be honest !!!)
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

We found some really nice ones in Debenhams, in the childrens section, they included aa and a sizes, there was quite a nice selection, none were underwired which is what we were looking for. They were made by pineapple.

Can I hijack the thread please and ask when is normal for daughters to start 'growing'- My daughter looks like she is starting to grow 'up top' but is only 8 1/2. Anyone else in this situation? mps She's not overweight, so it's not fat, iyswim.
Don't want to put a new thread up as the titile might attract the wrong viewer. Thanks in advance.

Yep, totally normal in my experience, I started growing at about 8, got my 1st period at 9. I think it is normal to start developing about 1-2 years before periods start but this is not an exact science so don't quote me! Never did get the huge boobs everyone predicted I would get as an early starter though, still only just a borderline B cup and was an A until I had my son!

    HTH;)

When I got my first one (wasnt that many years ago really, stupid small chest :P) I was measured in M+S and the ladies were very nice about it and measured me over a small vest style top. I bought one basic bra from them but then went to Tammy girl as they had a more grown up style.

Looking around now though most shops seem to stock the smaller sizes. Try Debenhams, BHS (Tammy girl is now in BHS, well it is down here anyway...), Primark and any other shops your can think of! Depending on what size she is La senza start from an A cup and their stuff is gorgeous and some very cute stuff. PLUS they are having a 70% sale at the moment!

But Id reccomend getting measured at M+S first.

avoid m&s. their sizing is all over the place.
i got my first bras from a local independant shop and they had some lovely cotton bras.
i get all mine from bravissimo but they start at D cup and will be far too big for a teenager.
what about la senza or ar all their designs too old?

Ignore above, M&S is by far the best.
