Tried to choose a comfortable, affordable, quality and pretty first bra with my teenage daughter for her. Can not find really good retailer with wide choice of teenage underwear from the natural fibres. Seems like most of the lingere retailer selling glamurous underwear for women.
Has anyone had similar problem?

Have you tried Marks and Spencers? Their underwear really is good quality, and as well as the sexy gear, there is also the practical... but I find that shop caters very well.
Plus you can get measured free in their stores.0 -
avoid m&s. their sizing is all over the place.
i got my first bras from a local independant shop and they had some lovely cotton bras.
i get all mine from bravissimo but they start at D cup and will be far too big for a teenager.
what about la senza or ar all their designs too old?0 -
a agree with m&s
their fitter was very sympathetic with dd who was embaressed she 1st measured her over her crop top then checked the fit when bra was on they had a limited but nice choice of undies at a reasonable price.
she wanted to go into new look or mk 1 but they only do padded bras which in my opinion are not suitable and far to grown up for an 11 yr old. she did try a lightly padded 1 on in marks and hated it.friend also used larger debenhams and said they were goodLead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
Tammy Girl, used to sell underwear when i was a teenager. BHS also do nice cotton sets."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0

Thanks to The Waltons and Heather38 for the advice. I like Bravissimo (buy for myself), but my daughter needs size AA or A I guess. We tried many well-known retailers. The problem is they don't offer a wide choice of this kind of underwear, I mean natural (like cotton), plain, comfy, small sizes AA-C and , as it's for teenagers, of course, trendy.
Don't you think we lack a retailer like this? Were young girls can buy treir first bras and have a choice.0 -
Definitely get her fitted somewhere though - and the MS bit is you can get her fitted in any department store without obligation to buy!0

it's awful. it seems that teenagers have to wear sexy undies and be all grown up.0

I know. Totally agree with you Heather 38. Maybe it's because they don't have a choice.0

how about John Lewis, they usually have a good range of everything, not that i shop for teenage girls as i have 2 boys, but being a girl myself i know their stuff is good and the measuring service is excellant and very discreet too for the embarrasment factor ( i still get embarrassed now and i am 38 lol)mustn't grumble :cool:0

When I were younger and had AA boobs, I would get mine from Marks as they has crop top/bra kind of things that gave the support and weren't sexy, if you see what I mean.
Too many clothes stores are selling clothing making girls look older. It's unecessary.0
