My god I was mega hungry today but have managed. I am going to try and lose weight by cutting out junk and between meals eating. But going to eat a normal evening dinner each day. Had baked potato and macaroni cheese tonight am stuffed now. Havent spent anything today. Loads of items ending on e-bay and should have about £30-£40 minimum. Will use this to complete my challenge. I am going to pay the £300 to my mum on 23rd and hopefully an extra £100 to the halifax card.I will be down to 4 debts then instead of original 11. They are biggies though. I can't believe how much I have achieved in 6 weeks though. I am well pleased with myself. I am converting my friends one by one when they hear all the things I am doing and how much money I am managing to save. Loving it :-)5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Good news on sticking to the diet thing, but even better to see your debts reducing like they are!!
Just one thing left to say..................

I cant believe you are down to 4 debts form 11 in such a short space of time, Its such a good feeling to see it all coming together.
Not done bad today on diet, went out for a meal as OH's boss took us but i managed to stay quite healthy. Nearly gave in and got the icecream im saving for energencies out of the freezer as i was upset with someone from work, but it really is too cold fir icecream so i avoided it.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
i was gutted today to learn that the student loan company are still saying i owe them money, they drive me barmy. you get statements that are six months out of date and they expect you to agree with whats on them (fume).
anyway, i had what i call an atkins style tea tonight (bacon egg beans waffle toast yum). a load of rubbish followed by two (so far) bottles of hops barley and wheat. still, at least it counts towards the 5 fruit and veg a day.
worried about the weigh in on monday, nearly as much as i'm worried about reached my debt goal for the end of the year!

by the way MIT, good work on the debt reduction!!! keep it up!
bet you can't wait for a few of those biggies to crumble away into debt-dust!0 -
I know!! Once I get to about £500 with the creditunion then I can use my shares in it to pay it off so that shouldnt take too long. Going to concentrate on the Halifax one now as Sony is 0% until next year. I'll change it to another 0% nearer the time. Halifax has lob @ 4.9% so will go for that. Maybe I am looking at this wrong and I might change my mind later on when debt free gets nearer but I am not that bothered about my car loan or secured loan. I know they are debt but I see them as essential. I needed the secure loan to convert my house to 3 beds ( so kids could have a room each) and I really need the car or I would have to add about 3 hours a day to my travel time  no way am I doing that. I am just desperate to get rid of the cards. After that who knows I moght decide to overpay my mortgage or I will save for a car rather than finance it but at the moment I just want rid of everything except the car, mortgage and secured. Do you think maybe I haven't had my actual light bulb moment yet??:rotfl:
