Standard practice Melly, even for the results of simple tests.

I think if they had been too worried they may have got you to go in yesterday, had the doc phone you or even got the results back sooner, anyway fingers crossed for you and don't let this little setback get you down xx

I agree with Archergirl Melly. We've been able to collect printouts of dds monthly full bloods once they're back but never MRIs or US scans. They are discussed face to face with the consultant or GP who has shared care.

I know you'll be worried but I believe if it was something big you'd have been contacted already. Only a few hours to go sending positive vibes.

I hope you've managed to sort things with the DWP and things are less stressful financially.

I've been thinking of you too Melly. It's odd not to see you post here so I hope the scan results were for something not too fearful and easily managed .

Got a couple of Dwp meetings this week.
My scan was fine, we are now thinking of sending me for a colonoscopy as the pain and toilet stuff is worse
Will put some vids and pics up shortly

Thanks for the reply Melly. It's probably put other people here minds at rest not just me.

As you're aware my dd had long term eds over many years and had dreadful issues similar to those you describe. Since finally getting the right counsellor after many rubbish ones she's managed to abandon that "coping" mechanism.

It may not be that in your case but the symptoms you've spoken of reminded me of hers.

Sending the vibes for the DWP meetings.

I never abused laxatives which is one of the things that can cause the problem.
I did go in saying that I thought the anorexia had damaged my digestive system initially so no idea why we went all issues with girlie bits.

Please god let this week lead to some money
    First meeting down
Next is Wednesday we are back to being completely out of everything
