    Lordy, Melly!

You have a lot of practical things to sort out with this move.
Apologies as I don't remember your circumstances too well but is there anyone - anyone at all - who can give you a hand with packing up and physically moving stuff?
I helped my sister move and we packed stuff into small boxes, I brought home a lot of A4 printer paper boxes.
It meant there was a lot of actual boxes to move but they weren't too heavy for us.
On a practical level, mark all your boxes with what's in them and put them straight into the appropriate room ready for unpacking.

Moving pets is can be problematical, you will need to keep the cats in for a while.
Is the garden secure for the dogs?

I had no internet from Friday night until now thanks to Storm Hannah.

    • Has your husband seen the Dr and been prescribed a strong antibiotic?
    • When do you have to return the keys to your present flat? Please don't be trying to do everything in one day. You should have time to do the move over a few days.
    • Is the nephew who helped move stuff to your friends shed and with the tip run able to help and or the friends with the shed?
    • You mentioned work had offered a van so is that still happening?
If necessary can you afford a man with a van if the van or nephew aren't happening .

Bear in mind you aren't well yourself . As someone who's had pneumonia I know your husband will be feeling dreadful without the stress of the move.
I can picture you raring to get everything done and dusted but please pace yourself as much as you can. You've waited a long time for this move so see if you can do it in stages.

Man with Van is probably the answer. Even Two Men with Van.

let's face it, OH was never going to be much help ... but I do hope he starts to recover from the pneumonia quickly!

Docs today Pol I am now aware of what it sounds like he will take antibiotics if I have to kill him.

Kitchen 3/4 packed napping now then up for another push.

The family are being an expletive Tbh and I am furious.
Nice friend will help as much as she can but she has a 6 month old and a 4 year old so it's limited.
I need to check about the van.

Has enclosed front garden with a drive and a rear yard fully enclosed then a shared garden also fully enclosed dogs will love it.

Families idea of help was sending me a pic of the vacuum bags and suggested I use those as they are great for storage.
    Yes
Of clothes and other textiles it's mainly toys and games oh and furniture.

Wiped out so nap if bloody Laurson let's me
