One year, when we just had malevolent cat, we had a load of Christmas cards lined up on the sideboard. Malevolent looked at us, walked from one end to the other without disturbing a single card. Looked at us again, walked back and knocked every dratted card onto the floor.

He had a cat related temper tantrum
Pickle and me calmed him
Then he realised he should just not change the food!

I love giving tummy rubs to dogs! My brother's dog which is a sweetie goes all doolally and his ears go to a sort of floppy attention.
