Are you getting support for your mental health. After all, you've gone through the mental and emotional equivalent of being repeatedly hit by a large hammer. It is natural to need support. You look after others so much, it's okay to get a bit of help back.

Do you know the route. Once upon a time I would have been fine walking, but not so much now. How are you? Can you take a flask with something warm in to drink after drop off? Are there places you can rest (particularly on the way there)?

Tentative suggestion - write down everything and hand it to your GP. Let him know how you are struggling. I suggest you spend some time writing it down and coming back and adding bits you remember.

Envy kitten kisses. We could theoretically have a cat, but DH isn't 100%, and I couldn't manage a dog.
