Just had some good news.
OT have just called, despite not fitting into the type of assessment they do, them not being able to complete the forms etc. They are going to email HA today and recommend that we are moved.
I cried.

I think she saw how close to the edge we are (OH particularly) so spoke to her boss to see what they could do.

It's coming to something when a person being nice reduces you to tears at work.

This week I have

got a helping hand from someone who went out of their way to help (OT)
Been offered a job round the corner from home
Potentially been offered more hours here
Booked to take OH out for a lovely meal and cocktails
Made his birthday not be too painful
Had a cuddle of Tomcats wife (she was waiting for him on the bench last night lol)

Its been a good week.

I know its trite to say this - but having been through such bad times it makes you appreciate the 'good' all the more!
I am ok melly, thank you for asking. Barnes is possibly feeling a tad neglected as I have been so busy - and am intending keeping busy. but, he does get his usual cuddles and kisses and ok, meals and Groom and Treats may be a bit 'off-schedule' but he does get them eventually! (I am talking about my cat here folks.........NOT OH!).

Today the housing association sent the 4 weeks notice for court thing.
What for I hear you cry remember those mythical arrears well they are a lot larger (despite payments continuing to be made)
No nothing to do with the OT ASSESSMENT
They are like a group of gangsters, and ate employing bullying tactics.
Have filed a claim with the ombudsman and have solicitors numbers for a harassment claim

dear lord - you have proof you paid, and they STILL insist on going to court? ask thousands in compensation on top of court and solicitors fees, because they are going to lose this one!
