Thanks pebbles.
The meeting is about getting us moved to a property that better suits our needs.
The noise is a toddler running around and jumping off furniture 18 hours a day so guess what the police aren't interested.
He doesn't treat me appallingly and he has mental health issues that he is awaiting a psychologist to be assigned for, I love him and guess what not going to !!!! him off 2 months after his mothers death cos he's not handling it well. That might be why the divorce rate is so high people throwing in the towel when it's not all about them.
I am naturally incredibly assertive (some would say aggressive) this is a place I can post get all of this out and present the calm face I need to to the world.0 -
Unfortunately everyone carries their own experience into a thread. This can lead to posts like the ones I tend to ignore about all men being evil etc.
Believe I have made it clear that I have reported the noise to the HA.
Those of you who have followed the thread will see OH is both trying to access the support he needs and finally acknowledged the problem.0 -

You're welcome, like I said.... Nobody knows what's happens in others lives, even if they think they do. XxPlease be nice to all moneysavers!

I get pretty defensive about my hubband lol. That was one of the problems with his mum my inability to sit back and see him treated like that.
He also has my back just not for the last 12 months as much because situation has made his mental health spiral
He doesn't threaten suicide he just talks about life being worthless and I'm more concerned when he doesn't talk about it an is clearly suffering as I know that makes him a risk.
He currently has Mr Grinch sat by him threatening everyone that comes near0 -
Sending massive hugs
However I will continue to grumble and nag and complain and try and get you to take care of yourself, but I know how hard it can be in the middle of things
Also, deeply, deeply envious of your furry cuddles.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
WS that's fine and thank you!X
Tomcat has most definitely settled in as he has just bowled in screeched at me, sniffed it, screeched at me again and tried to eat my tea lol.
Gonna have a game of fish in a min0 -
Those of you who have been following the thread will know that most of my friends in the estate are the older ones I meet when out with the dogs.
Today I saw one of my friends who also has a jrt and is one of the only dogs Froo loves so went over and let the kids frolic, his wife died a couple of months ago and it would have been their 55th wedding anniversary next month.
He was really upset so we had a sit down and I gave him a cuddle people like him are the reason we stay on the estate.
OH said I'd been out for ages and when I told him what I'd been doing gave me a hug and said it was one of things he loved about me the fact that when someone who's been on their own all day needs a bit of company I will walk round with them.
Feeling good about myself0 -
That's a lovely thing to do Melly! I'm sure the gentleman will have been very appreciative.

Not a chore Georgie he's lovely and I don't think anyone should be on their own (unless they want to be)
He has kids and they are coming down frequently but day to day it's him and the doggy.
There are a couple on here in the same boat I've been known to knock on for them if I haven't seen them for a couple of days under the guise of walking the dogs.;)0
