My cats don't eat much when its hot although they will always drink water.

You cannot be evicted for missing one week without court proceedings which take time ....and with how the HA has been treating you, and OH, I think it would be highly unlikely that an eviction order would be issued.

    Go to the hospital!

Melly - Hospital hunny now! they DO have means of patient communication with the outside world these days. take the numbers for the HA, Shelter and the MP and inform them of where you are if they keep you in.
and on past form your OH is great in a crisis - let him take over. Migraine it could be - but you have had TIAs so this needs checking out. TONIGHT!

Is it possible for you to set up a standing order so that the rent (which I presume you're referring to) is paid automatically?

That way there's one less thing to worry about on a weekly basis and you can get you sorted ....even if that means a hospital stay

If it is stroke, the longer before you get treatment the less chance of a decent recovery. Some drugs only give the best effect if administered in the first few days. It really is time sensitive. I have had this talk with my father. He didn't listen either.

Father was only kept overnight autumn 2013, even though he was elderly and a repeat stroke survivor.

What happened with him is that they did a brain scan, checked he could eat and drink okay, that he had someone to keep an eye on him and sent him home. Seriously, if hospital can throw you out they will.

If there is nothing going on, if it is just a migraine, then you are putting down a paper trail to support your case to move - and to use as a stick to beat the HA with. If it is a stroke then you are taking a massive risk delaying.

From the sound of it, with previous TIA, they may find it useful for you to get another scan to compare what your brain looks like now to what it did at the last scan.

I know it is scary, I've watched my father go through it and it is awful. However there isn't much wriggle room. You have managed to deal with so much that has been so hard. Please don't give up now.

    Sorry Meri and WS.

Have called 111 they want me to chase my GP tomorrow to get the investigation moved up.
The thoughts are if it was a stroke not a lot can be done now the scans should show this.

They have said if arm/leg/face get any worse I call 999 no Messi g about.

I know I'm being stupid and OH is stronger than o give him credit for however he listened to the ansaphone earlier which has his mum's messages on and had a cry, he's been so bad I worry about him.

Thank you for updating. I am an old biddy who worries.

I have never been on a plane but apparently the drill is that if the oxygen masks come down, a mother puts hers on first and then her children's. The idea is that the mother needs to save herself so that she is able to save her children. You cannot look after OH if you are incapacitated.

Re strokes - some people are badly affected, but father came back from 'do not cancel your wedding, it will give him something to live for, visit any time, he is very poorly indeed' in 1990 to mortifying me with his girlfriends and ex girlfriends at church in 2014. However he took his care seriously in 1990.

I strongly suggest that today you make a list of what needs to be done with OH, make sure everyone (including HA - get a read receipt on an email) knows you are now becoming seriously ill and pack an emergency bag with change, book etc. Be ready to grab a charger for devices and a packet of wipes. Then you are prepared and it is something you do not have to worry about. Hopefully in a very short while you will find the unused bag while you are packing to move.

Cat and dog cuddles are medically and scientifically proven to make you feel better. Take care in this hot weather. Hugs

That's only to be expected about your OH. I still find it hard to look at recent photos of my Dad without crying. :( You're right though, I'm sure when push comes to shove, he IS stronger than you think he is.

Glad you phoned 111 at least, but like they say, if it gets any worse phone 999 straight away.

    Lol at the 'agenda'.

Can you send back an amended version - or rather, in your state, get Shelter/MP etc to draft an amended version.

    Keeping all crossed for you.
