not sure they do - but 185 branches of subway are going halal - i bet the op has one nearby. the good news is affected branches will have to have signs put up. i only hope the signs have been pre-approved by a conservatry salesman and a bin cleaner or subway could fall foul of the law with halal meatballs.

Whilst posting, does anyone know of any petrol station in the north west that sells sandwiches with the following filling, Roast Pork and Pease pudding? OH was wretching at the thought of it. Had one the other week out of a petrol station in Gateshead and it was Lush ! And it was run by proper Geordies. Non Halal of the best order !

My local Shell garage has just had a refurb and has opened again with an M&S shop; I'm going to check it out next time I fill up there and see if they have meatballs and whether my son can try one.

I liked that one too. A troll with a sense of imagination (in troll-terms must have been a throw-back) beyond compare. Emz11 is weak in comparison.
