How to cancel Flight Tickets without penalty

Hi, I have just bought flight tickets through a travel agent, I did this over the phone and was sent an e-mail which contained an electronic customer acceptance form, I confirmed this form and received an e-ticket, I have now been reading dire reviews about this travel agent and am now wondering if I have done the right thing. I checked my credit card and as yet the payment has not came off, is it still possible to cancel these flight tickets without any comeback? am I entitled to a cooling of period? or can I cancel through my credit card company?

    No................
  • You wanted to book tickets, something that you did through a travel agent and this agent acted on your request.
You've received confirmation of the flights and received an e-ticket so why would you want to cancel now?

However bad the agent's online reviews were, they seem to have done exactly what you paid them to do.

As these are travel tickets, there is no cooling off period, other than any that might be provided by the seller.

    Link now corrected.

As always, thank you for your help.
  • Thanks for the replies, yes probably nothing to worry about, shouldn't have read the reviews.
  • If you've already got the plane ticket (and this is all you booked with them) what do you actually think the issues could be?
    Thinking critically since 1996....

No, you read the reviews before you book!

To be fair...it entirely depends on the ticket type booked. For example If its fully refundable fare then the answer is yes.
