As there are a few experts on here, I was just wondering if one of you could point me in the right direction please:D
I normally wear 34a:o but the cup is a bit too big and a 34aa the cup is too small, I'm not too sure how it works so has anyone got any suggestions as to what size to try please. Thanks in advance to you lovely lovely people:D
Lita, if you dont mind can you share whats the measurement under the bust, and full bust0 -
Hi Lita,
Again, you have to try different brands, what fits in one brand will not fit in another. What brand are you trying? Is it just the same bra? If you are too big in one and too small in another go for the bigger size so you are not wearing bras that are too small.
I was also going to ask, is the back size OK, that being is it too loose? If it is moving around, does it ride up your back or you are yanking it down you are in a size that is too big. Many people get used to the comfort of bigger back sizes and do not change down but try different brands to get the right fit.
PM if you prefer not to disclose on here.0 -

Its the same with most of the bras i have tried. The back size is fine, once i've put it on the back doesn't move at all but is not digging in, they are just perfect.Mummy to Oliver - 28/10/09

I am afraid it is going to be a case of trying on different brands then, I know it is an old style but the Gossard Supersmooth was a good one for disguising that a bra was too small because of the material it is made from. Have you tried padded and unpadded? And in what brands have you tried so far?
I've said before that bras are like shoes, not every size 3 will fit my feet and I can try 100 pairs of shoes on and one find one pair of good fitting shoes, it goes the same for bras. Eventually you'll find a brand that fits you perfect and you'll be able to stick to it and they will all fit you. It is just a case of trying and trying. Let me know what you have tried so far and maybe I can offer some more suggestions.0 -

I have only tried primark, asda, tesco, bhs, anything cheap as i don't like spending a lot on clothes of any kind (i'm a proper cheapo:D) especially when i know they're not going to fit properly.Mummy to Oliver - 28/10/09

Hi Lita,
Well, I hate to say it but that is where you are going wrong. It is because they are cheap and because they are store brand so the sizes tend to differ along the way. If you choose a brand and stick to it then you'll get the right size, they are usually cheap for a reason - sorry. I know why we are all on here but sometimes you just cannot comprimise and the branded bras actually last a whole lot longer if you hand wash them and look after them than the cheapies do. I am going to PM you some info you might find useful. C xx0 -
Roksana, it is not a good idea to put personal email addresses on the forum, people can contact you by PM.0

I use this guide to help fit and I've also been to M&S but i don't think they take into account droopiness since it will affect actual widest part of the bust.
I would suggest get yourself measured then try a range of size around that, so if you're going one cup higher then also get it at the next size lower.
So I measured as a 38B but i tried a 36C and 40B as well just to be sure i felt comfortable.0 -
Hi
I haave a larger bust and have been fnding it difficult to et a bra that fits and feels comfortable. I am aware that I need an underwired bra, for the support, but, I cant find an underwired bra that is comfortable. I find that the wires either keep coming out or are digging in me. I have been measured and fitted in different stores but the problem still exists, any ideas. Should I go up a size to allow for the wire to be in the correct place.? I would be grateful for any sensible replies.
thanks
