We have seen several cases where Parking Eye have been very petty, such as the motorist using the "wrong" registration machine at a hotel. Now we have an example of Parking Eye being downright vindictive. As detailed in this blog by Parking Prankster:-

http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/contemplating-visit-to-snowdon-dont-get.html

Parking Eye are victimizing a motorist who damaged his ankle and could not get back to his car in time. Even though PE were made aware of this they are insisting on taking the poor man to court. I hope Rachel is proud of herself.

It makes me embarrassed that one of the leading tourist attractions in Wales is also being vindictive by not helping the tourist.

It's a disgraceful act by both these companies, and there is no humanity in their actions! So Parking Eye is saying there is a vendetta against them, is it any wonder when they act like this!

Nothing surprises me with Parking Eye - though I sense an air of desperation about them. - it must be this VENDETTA ..... I hear that the magic little faxing elf has also been kept very busy lately.

So much for a company mitigating its losses - already spending £40 to continue the case and will fork out £200 + for the LPC solicitor...

I remember reading this on Pepipoo - when it first appeared - shocking that the SMR are not intervening here.

As a qualified Mountain Leader I've been up that hill more times than I can remember by every conceivable route and I'll be writing to these jokers today to let them know how disgusted I am and that, if I have anything to do with it, no-one I know will ever use that car park again while ParkingEye infest the place.

"Hill" they wont like that bazster!

However what a crazy idea, the only time you could be somewhat certain how long you needed to pay to park is if you went up and down on the same train. If you got off at the top the next one down could be full, if you walked up, and trained down, or vice versa if you have never done it before, you would not know how long to pay for.

The only way to do it properly is pay on exit, however that would mean PE needing to do something for their money.

I wonder if Kim Jong-un has a vacancy for a solicitor Miss Ledson would fit in very well.

I imagine SMR went for the cheap option of hiring PE on a no management-fee arrangement forgetting that this system is not fit for purpose. At least one hospital trust has already found this out to its detriment.

Indeed. I once spend a day climbing on Crib y Ddysgl and was walking off towards Snowdon at about 5:00 p.m. in thick mist when we encountered a family in gleaming white training shoes heading the "wrong" way towards the Crib Goch pinnacles and knife-edge, convinced they were still on the Llanberis path. They were adamant they were on the same path they came up on and refused to believe they were heading for a world of pain and terror in the dark. It was only when I shrugged and said "please yourselves" that their young lad said "well I'm going with 'im", and the moronic parents were left with no choice but to tag along. They didn't even apologise when the railway came into view.

I'm willing to bet they got a ParkingEye ticket, if PE were in the car park then! Mind you, I'd have charged them £500 for their idiocy if I had the power.
