Ha ha it's only because I'm off work this week and I still have most of the vacuuming to do as catch up.

Flying this morning has consisted of DWx2 and WUPUPA non-DW-able items from the meal for 6 yesterday evening. We ate very well and still have lots of leftovers for tomorrow :D

And the house is clean and tidy after a quick run-round yesterday afternoon :)

Will post the cake recipe later, Mumto5. Just dashing out to post Easter cards and take DH for his horse piddle appointment.

    Morning all

lots to do today; washing out already. Recycling bins (mine and NDN's) brought back in. DW emptied.

Felt a bit *bleurgh* last night so had an early night.

Morning all, don't seem to have got very far with the list this week :( I would much prefer pottering around doing nothing ... lol

I am babysitting my niece for a few hours from 11am today, so am considering taking her out to lunch. Then I really should knuckly down and get some things done. I could sit on the sofa with my cutlery drawer while a slushy film is on I suppose. Hmmm that's an idea..think I will do that. :D

Hoping the weather outside stays nice as I have decided to boil the towels that were left in the bin. The weather app on my phone does say it is going to be 19 today so it better be..lol Ooooh the towel bin is now empty :D Just have to empty the two clothes bin next.

Oh well better iron the living room floor before C arrives, the dogs seem to have decided to make another dog on the carpet with the amount of fur they have deposited. Oh how I love spring when they moult...:rotfl:

    I was right - he didn't notice!!:rotfl:

Natty I can only sing if you really, really want Mr LW to sue for divorce!!
Bless him, he's wfh today to look after me after the visit to the vampire lady this morning; that went as well as it could under the circumstances (ie I'd had to forego my early morning Oramorph and 2 mugs of coffee) but at least I had a good nurse do the evil task.:o

Princesses have been walked; Mr LW wants his main dins midday but he's going to help make it (veggie sausage'n'chips with fried toms) and I'll groom the Princesses thoroughly later on - they're not the sort of dogs that shed, but they have thick fur, and in Patsy's case very long, so it needs doing thoroughly every 2nd day.:o

Going to hit the kitchen now; I'll post again later if I get chance - if not, have a lovely weekend, whether you celebrate or not.:o

Hi everyone. I'd like to try this please if it's ok.
I'm a teacher too so in the holidays I'm ok but keeping up with housework during term time is an absolute nightmare for me.

    I'm hoping this will help

I might empty a few more cupboards today into the new kitchen
Right I really ought to do something off the lists.
  • Glad your blood test wasn't too bad Lamewolf.

    Welcome Sniggle.

I'm really struggling this week but as I have been keeping on top of things better with this Flylady thread things aren't so bad. Glad it was the bathrooms today as they really couldn't be left. OH had manual job and likes a bar of soap bad combination - bathroom can go from being OK to yuck in 1/2 hour.

Not much better than a S and S but a bit more thorough.

If I didn't have work again tomorrow I would chance a bit more but need to work tomorrow. Recover Sat and go to Dancing on Ice Sun and there's still washing to do and dinner to make.

    afternoon all
ive made myself a paper copy of the lists and am working from that today as the weekend start tonight for me.

made an early start and was going well
    all garden waste put out
washing fetched in and another load in the wm
    all washing done
    kitchen S&Sed
then friends DH whos fitting mil a shower seat rang she wasnt home and he was waiting to get in (wed told her this last night) i told him id be over with the key, got there, mil was in but "wasnt expecting anyone so didnt bother answering the door" shes never not answered the door when ive popped round on spec befoe and she wanted the seat fitting so not sure what was going on there. its the same person who fitted her new bathroom and shower so she hasnt got a problem with him. told them id stay while he did it so morning got scrapped but bonus is hes coming round later to fix a frog (cane toad) for me. down side is i need to nip in the attic before he comes and clear him some space near the water tanks.

house feels so much clear this week after dusty cracked the whip last week and ive managed to pretty much keep on top of the lists.

i hope everyone has a lovely long weekend

hopefully ill be in again today thats just in case im not
