Mummyvb, many congratulations. Many many years ago I had three children under the age of 2, it was chaos, but i loved it. Would have had more later on but circumstances changed.:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0

It is supposed to be, but fil dogs get 3 or 4 malteasers each every night and have done for years. Also dogs eat whatever they can get their greedy noses into and I am sure many will have found chocolate before. I am not a vet but would not be worried personally
We had a border/lakeland terrier and one Xmas we went out and left her in the lounge. When we got back she had eaten a whole box of After Eight's. All the little envelopes were spread over the carpet but they were not ripped it was as if she had slipped the chocolates out of each one.
However dd is paranoid about chocolate being eaten by her pup as the vet warned her about it and also grapes ( something else our previous dog loved)0 -
I hope it works!!:)
I normally don't like to post a glitch until I am certain it works, but as I might be working tomorrow, I may not be able to post the results from my c&c.
It works

Apparently according to a google search a 30kg dog can eat 1kg of choc before they have harmful affects. We think she's eaten about 500g and weighs about 25kg. Just given her supper, and will make sure she has plenty of water this evening. Serves me right for leaving the egg on the dinner table :rotfl::rotfl:
Your fine leaving the egg on the table, just dont leave the dog on the table“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Thank you everyone for your congratulations.
It's really lovely to have people that I don't even know being positive for us.
We haven't told anyone IRL as we are dreading the comments that we will get. I think some of you know that we have six children already. I realise that is a lot but they are amazing children and even though it wasn't planned there is no real reason to not add another person to our family. DH is an amazing husband and Daddy, has a reasonable job and would do anything for us. We have a big enough house (just), mortgaged but we will get there. I am lucky enough to be a SAHM so don't rely on anyone else for childcare, other than the odd evening out when my Mum babysits. We are always being complimented on how well behaved and polite the children are and on the whole I think we do a pretty good job with them- DH and I make a good team and make up for each other's short comings. Thanks to you guys the children are well fed and clothed, don't really go without anything and what they do go without is more than made up for in love. They are all very proud of each other and love and support each other.
Despite all this I know that we will receive very negative reactions from family. I don't even really understand why.
So thank you for being happy for us, it means a lot xxxIf only batman was here, he'd soon get you told0 -

I've heard chocolate is harmful to dogs.
DD's dog staying with us, and while we were out for a few hours driving DSS2 home, the dog has eaten my dairy milk egg - a fairly large one.
Dont want to ring DD and panic her if there is no problem... but should i be worried? Dog is a small 2 year old yellow lab. She's looking ok.
TIA
