I had to perform emergency first aid on one of my big aloe vera plants tonight- I took off a base leaf and the whole thing came away from the pot :eek: :eek:

I'm hoping I've managed to save it but it's gonna be a while before I know for sure

Funny thing is, to look at it, you'd never have known cos it was happily sat on top of the pot like nothing was wrong. It's as green as it should be and there is tons of new growth
