I've heard chocolate is harmful to dogs.
DD's dog staying with us, and while we were out for a few hours driving DSS2 home, the dog has eaten my dairy milk egg - a fairly large one.
Dont want to ring DD and panic her if there is no problem... but should i be worried? Dog is a small 2 year old yellow lab. She's looking ok.

    TIA :(

I wouldn't worry don't think she will come to any harm.

When I had Lucy my small JR she opened a parcel and ate nearly a big box Thornton's chocolates and was ok.

I will admit :o Poppy been fed the odd chocolate and she ok . Dark chocolate supposed to be the worst.

I would say she will be fine, there is less of the harmful ingredient in milk chocolate, than dark. If you are really worried, you could always give her butter and salt to make her sick.
(edit: but like everyone else says, I would not worry about it, just keep an eye on her)

It is supposed to be, but fil dogs get 3 or 4 malteasers each every night and have done for years. Also dogs eat whatever they can get their greedy noses into and I am sure many will have found chocolate before. I am not a vet but would not be worried personally

thanks for advice on first utility. I'm not the sort of person who likes to be 25 th in the queue so think i'll tell them where to stick their 300 deposit.

it s a bit of a joke when most of your gas charges go the standing charge but it won't be long before credit rating improves and there's bound to be another deal.

Have you tried Ebico, no standing charge :) ?

The higher the cocoa content, the more poisonous to dogs. The average Easter Egg will be milk chocolate and have a low cocoa content, therefore not too harmful, but it all depends on the size of dog.
