Despite all this I know that we will receive very negative reactions from family. I don't even really understand why.

I have aunts on both sides that have 6 so seven doesn't seem that big a jump, ignore any negative comments - as long as you, OH and kids are happy no one else's opinion matters

Congratulations , your family sounds lovely . Did you see that programme I think it was on last year about big families, I cant remember how many kids they had think it was 13 or something and they owned a bakery they were a really lovely family and the kids were a credit to them and such happy children

Rhos, as always you have hit the nail on the head. I'm glad that you agree that having a big, happy family is the best. You are absolutely right in what you say- we may not be rich in 'things' but we are absolutely filthy rich in the important things- the things that money can't buy. I wish I could come to your house. It always sounds so loving and homely. xx
