Preview - do not use as APG will not be updated for probably a number of days. Northern Ireland - skip as this does not apply to you, sorry!

Nestle Original Shreddies (500g) are to go onto Avs M. M = £1.15, not best price ever but sort of 'okay'.
Also Kelloggs Variety Pack should become £1.04 for M, although I wouldn't go for it as these are always expensive packs by weight.
Pringles, as you know, are £1.24 each in M (too expensive but watch those offers elsewhere;))
Branston Beans (4 pack) £1.25 in M. Again, not best price (M was £1.19 some months ago) and can be beaten elsewhere, but possible for APG attempt in a few days time.
Princes Wild Pink Salmon tin (213g) remains at £1 (with the red version now on the offer ends at £2.50:rotfl:)
It's possible that 2x ASDA Tomato Puree (142g) could work out favourably vs M. I don't know - maybe that's a temperamental one due to issues over "Italian", "double concentrate" etc.
Walls Mini Twisters - stop tempting us Savvy:mad: - remain at £1 in M (nice and out of stock in my M store today but that doesn't matter!:D).
There's also some doughnutty packs at 50p in M (not sure if they're ones that compare from A?) but, anyway, they're another tempter and best ignored!
More healthily, and one I'd still go for (assuming this remains same tomorrow etc.), the (400g) Yellow Plums continue at £1 vs 49p M. The usual suspects - iceberg lettuce, 335g fresh broccoli, McV Jamaica cake - remain at last week's prices in M as of today, though I only get the last mentioned nowadays if there is cashback or some SEL errors.

Shreddies £1 MOC on FB knitting by nanas.

    Pringles £1.15 in T

I try to pass on the money saving ideas/glitches to my Mum. It doesn't always work out though.

karlie88: Mum there's a way to get paid for Nivea deodrants in A$DA.

    karlie88's Mum: Oooooh! How?!

karlie88: Well, you know the A$DA Price Guarantee where they promise to be 10% cheaper than other competitors...

    karlie88's Mum: You've lost me.

    :rotfl::rotfl:

To be fair, she's probably thinking 10% off and doesn't realise that sometimes the mbuys go AWOL so that's why she's lost by it.

With me, and my family, it's a different order. Due to my ASD I often go on about special interests blissfully unaware that the other person (that I'm unknowingly coming across as 'talking through' or 'at' rather than 'with') is bored or not interested (or more to the point, doesn't have the ability to find the subject interesting - their failing not mine:rotfl::cool:). On the whole, oral communication often doesn't come out right. That's why I can go on here and post what I like:eek::eek: - and to an audience that is either interested in reading what I'd said or, if not, can simply skip at their (your!;)) leisure.

See, this post itself comes under talking about both my dual special interests at the moment - or even triple:D - special interests in shopping comparisons, in Asperger syndrome and my special interest in the topic of special interests themselves:rotfl:.

DD went to her 3rd night at gastro pub nearby and 3 or 4 of the cast from Downton Abbey were coming to host a quiz to raise money for flood relief ( the village was partially flooded this winter)
She recently starting using an app called Depop , where you can buy and sell clothes and she got a lovely Top Shop dress for £5.00 which she wore tonight. I have to say she looked really lovely.

In case you're all wondering...this is the oath I took when I graduated:

Now, as a new doctor, I solemnly promise that I will to the best of my ability serve humanity—caring for the sick, promoting good health, and alleviating pain and suffering.

I recognise that the practice of medicine is a privilege with which comes considerable responsibility and I will not abuse my position.

I will practise medicine with integrity, humility, honesty, and compassion—working with my fellow doctors and other colleagues to meet the needs of my patients.

I shall never intentionally do or administer anything to the overall harm of my patients.

I will not permit considerations of gender, race, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, nationality, or social standing to influence my duty of care.

I will oppose policies in breach of human rights and will not participate in them. I will strive to change laws that are contrary to my profession's ethics and will work towards a fairer distribution of health resources.

I will assist my patients to make informed decisions that coincide with their own values and beliefs and will uphold patient confidentiality.

I will recognise the limits of my knowledge and seek to maintain and increase my understanding and skills throughout my professional life. I will acknowledge and try to remedy my own mistakes and honestly assess and respond to those of others.

I will seek to promote the advancement of medical knowledge through teaching and research.

I make this declaration solemnly, freely, and upon my honour.

    :T

The clappy thing is not part of the oath.

    :rotfl:

Tinyshoes take note of the above for DD on her graduation day...it will come sooner than you think and you'll have tears of joy that day.

    :)

    Duly noted. ;)

Must admit reading it did get me a little choked thinking, that one day these huge responsibilities will be taken on by my little girl. :o

She phoned earlier to say she was buying something from BMJ with practice questions, friend had given her a code for 15% off. :money: I hope will give her the reassurance revising is going well.

    Re the glitching
I gave lots to my dd but have decided not to anymore. I have problems going out and at times it makes me physically ill chasing glitches. I do it to make a better life for my family. Dd has just treated herself to a BMW and always has designer clothing and top of range everything. If I tell her about glitches she dosnt bother to do them. So I guess what I'm saying is it's pointless making myself ill to save her a few pounds if she has money to burn and thinks nothing of wasting money herself.
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

I have a son with learning difficulties, and he wanted to move out, he was in a place with 24/7 support and a key worker for the first 10 months. Then had to move out because of his age, he was given support for the first few weeks, an hour a week, then none. I enquired about support and was told had to go to social services, so there is not loads of support for under 25 year olds out there, its all down to money I was told.

Really? Ouch that's harsh. How old was he? Do you not have any other housing organisations such as Shap/Chas/Fusion? In our local authority, the young people support service CAN offer support for up to 2 years depending on the person's circumstances. Also, additional support can be gained for clients from external housing agencies.

If this is something recent, contact the council and see if there are any other agencies that can offer support. Also, see if you can go to the CAB as they will be able to pinpoint you too.

Dwindling funds is a fair point to them, but surely there should be other avenues that can offer assistance. Definitely look into it.
