Yes water company told me this and i also went on the saving site and it said i would pay more with a meter.
My DD is for £25-22 a month 2 bedroomed house just me and son visits once a month for a weekend if i am lucky.

I wonder if they deliberately over-estimate to try & stop people getting meters? They do have to install meters FOC too, so I guess it's not in their interests.

I have a bath probably 3 times a week (showers on other days before anyone starts!) AND there are 2 of us @ £16.34 per month. I can't see how you and a dog would use more than 2 people - go for it!

Aww I just quit smoking, now what am I going to do incase I need a poorly made Taiwaneese rip off of an amazing brand that will probably not work & even if it did it would probably explode causing serious injury whilst setting my house on fire?
As long as you don't mind a dodgy I love London lighter you should be fine ;)

This time I will get the right ones fruit and barley only!! :rotfl:
I got my glitchy friend CouponKathy ( who hasn't been around for a while) some robinsons today. Also on Thursday my lovely work was giving out free bottles of Prosecco I don't drink that so you can have those as well. Loads left over must have been feeling generous.
    See you soon. Xx
Get posting as I have missed you :)

Thank you so much Claire1972, just as my stash was getting low you have come up trumps! Your job sounds fab! I know how much you enjoy it, and it sounds like your employer values you too! I am hoping to be back on here regularly again very soon - just doing a lot of stuff for family at the moment xxx

A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together ;)
  • Make your own poorly made rip off :D
That's too much hassle & knowing me my lighter would probably work!

Dont live beyond your means and life will be simpler

I do not mean being made redundant/sick/widowed/dumped etc etc something that comes out of the blue.
I mean if you earn £x a week don't spend like you are earning £x +£50 it wont work, sooner or later the proverbial will hit the fan

That was my mum and dad's rule, they never ever had any credit except their mortgage. Probably why I am such a lucky girl now there were no debts to pay off from the estate. :)

There has been one time in my life where me and Mr TS had to live beyond our means to put food on the table because of health reasons and it took us a few years to pay it off.

You have to try and stay in control whatever the circumstance, while you are in control you can always steer yourself in the right direction, it can be hard but it can be done. ;)

Best results if bought in 2's..... I didn't buy today as there was only 1. I think I know the product it's comparing to. ;) I believe the odd price is due to a weight difference within the 10%. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong. :o

There may be others, seem to be most of the 12x100g boxes for £3.50 are matching vA.

If preferred, the £4 boxes including Simply ones do match but work out £1 for 2 boxes after pp (2x£4 Tv 2x£3 A).

Sil was up to the eyes in debt I mentioned it last summer £500 a month interest on CC and only paying the minimum off the debt. This debt had just built up steadily over about 10 years
House sold debt cleared living in a rented property and she is happier now than I have seen her in years :j

    Taking control. :T:T:T

I bet she had a bit of help. ;)
