DH feels like that:eek:. I made him come with me once when I got dtd on some meat, and he looked soooo uncomfortable as I was semitrouted, but I got the dtd through reasoned argument(was not giving up:rotfl:) When we got outside he said, 'never again. I don't know how you get away with it':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
He now waits at home, unloads the car when I get back, and is amazed at what is in the bags. The first question is how much was that lot, and laughs when I tell him.:rotfl:
He is on the countdown for Antigua now. The camera bag is packed, and ready to go:p I get to pack everything else.:(

If anyone would care to add any comments on Facebook here is the link - https://www.facebook.com/tesco/posts/687747964617671?comment_id=6442019&offset=0&total_comments=6&notif_t=feed_comment

I shouldn't be surprised really that Tesco have robbed me again - I used 2p on a pay at pump transaction on 8th April but it didn't work and this is the reason it is still there and I was forced to use the 2p rather than 6p I have accumulated in the following month.

I've left a comment Shirley - couldn't believe they only gave you 200 CC points at first and then even had the cheek to offer to remove these when you explained this was not adequate compensation for the discounts you'd lost through their mistake!

I used to feel guilty for shopping the Elite way but not any more! :D

I try to pass on the money saving ideas/glitches to my Mum. It doesn't always work out though.

karlie88: Mum there's a way to get paid for Nivea deodrants in A$DA.

    karlie88's Mum: Oooooh! How?!

karlie88: Well, you know the A$DA Price Guarantee where they promise to be 10% cheaper than other competitors...

    karlie88's Mum: You've lost me.

Best results if bought in 2's..... I didn't buy today as there was only 1. I think I know the product it's comparing to. ;) I believe the odd price is due to a weight difference within the 10%. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong. :o

    I think they're comparing against these Elsie, with a 10% weight adjustment. (A 400g T 360g)

In case you're all wondering...this is the oath I took when I graduated:

Now, as a new doctor, I solemnly promise that I will to the best of my ability serve humanity—caring for the sick, promoting good health, and alleviating pain and suffering.

I recognise that the practice of medicine is a privilege with which comes considerable responsibility and I will not abuse my position.

I will practise medicine with integrity, humility, honesty, and compassion—working with my fellow doctors and other colleagues to meet the needs of my patients.

I shall never intentionally do or administer anything to the overall harm of my patients.

I will not permit considerations of gender, race, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, nationality, or social standing to influence my duty of care.

I will oppose policies in breach of human rights and will not participate in them. I will strive to change laws that are contrary to my profession's ethics and will work towards a fairer distribution of health resources.

I will assist my patients to make informed decisions that coincide with their own values and beliefs and will uphold patient confidentiality.

I will recognise the limits of my knowledge and seek to maintain and increase my understanding and skills throughout my professional life. I will acknowledge and try to remedy my own mistakes and honestly assess and respond to those of others.

I will seek to promote the advancement of medical knowledge through teaching and research.

I make this declaration solemnly, freely, and upon my honour.

    :T

The clappy thing is not part of the oath.

    :rotfl:

Tinyshoes take note of the above for DD on her graduation day...it will come sooner than you think and you'll have tears of joy that day.

Preview - do not use as APG will not be updated for probably a number of days. Northern Ireland - skip as this does not apply to you, sorry!

Nestle Original Shreddies (500g) are to go onto Avs M. M = £1.15, not best price ever but sort of 'okay'.
Also Kelloggs Variety Pack should become £1.04 for M, although I wouldn't go for it as these are always expensive packs by weight.
Pringles, as you know, are £1.24 each in M (too expensive but watch those offers elsewhere;))
Branston Beans (4 pack) £1.25 in M. Again, not best price (M was £1.19 some months ago) and can be beaten elsewhere, but possible for APG attempt in a few days time.
Princes Wild Pink Salmon tin (213g) remains at £1 (with the red version now on the offer ends at £2.50:rotfl:)
It's possible that 2x ASDA Tomato Puree (142g) could work out favourably vs M. I don't know - maybe that's a temperamental one due to issues over "Italian", "double concentrate" etc.
Walls Mini Twisters - stop tempting us Savvy:mad: - remain at £1 in M (nice and out of stock in my M store today but that doesn't matter!:D).
There's also some doughnutty packs at 50p in M (not sure if they're ones that compare from A?) but, anyway, they're another tempter and best ignored!
More healthily, and one I'd still go for (assuming this remains same tomorrow etc.), the (400g) Yellow Plums continue at £1 vs 49p M. The usual suspects - iceberg lettuce, 335g fresh broccoli, McV Jamaica cake - remain at last week's prices in M as of today, though I only get the last mentioned nowadays if there is cashback or some SEL errors.

Agreed. I've seen these fruit snack packs go down to 2p on whoops. We ought to meet up sometime in RL and swap our tips!:D
