As for unemployed I always say look at your own lifestyle and how would you cope if your earnings suddenly dropped to £71 per adult and approx £60 per kid a week with no stashes

    I love you too tweets..,

I use my Santander card for treats and bargains as it's zero percent on purchases. I used it today for 150 pounds of 3v cards.

I used to pay with my tesco cc and pay balance in full.

I also have Virgin TV. But I don t smoke or gamble much.

Expecting to save quite a bit this year such as reduced mortgage payments, water meter, saving on service charge so prepared to borrow if free.

Honestly I hate working but when your on benefits people poke there nose in your business, you get bored and you never know when the money will be cut.

    More hassle than its worth..

Sorry to hear about your mum Elsie. I'm just back from a flying visit to Somerset where my 91 year old mum is in hospital with fluid on the lungs and breathing difficulties. No specific illness as such, just old age. It's the second time this has happened in the last couple of months and this time she looked even more frail than last. I think we're in for a difficult time ahead :(

Great post by the way tweets, I think we share the same outlook :T

    (((X))) hugs Elsie and hornetgirl.

Wonder how rose is getting on with her mum and family.

Anyone heard from 3Dogs ? Hope she is ok :)

Thanks for the thoughts. Hugs Hornetgirl, thinking of you and your Mum too. :A
My Mum is worrying about her sis too, 10 years older, in mid 80's who was taken in yesterday, something to do with lungs but not sure yet. She already has dementia and has 4 careers in to visit each day, but wants to stay there. Its hard because she looses track of time of day and wouldn't know if a career had missed a visit, but she doesn't want to leave her house. Its so sad to watch the aging process. Lets hope they can both keep the hospital bugs at bay. :(

I wasn't with Mum yesterday but it sounds like she was on good form. I gave my son a lift to our local footie ground to watch a rather big match against the REDS. He'd managed to get the loan of a season ticket. :D Mum was watching it on SKY round my sis's house, and was apparently going crazy at times shouting at our boys, and saying she just can't watch. Anyway, it was a fab game, I think we defo did the right thing sacking our manager 2 weeks ago... although it took far too long to get round to it. Our boys are now playing with much more freedom. Me and my DS have prepared ourselves for going down, and thought of the positives from it, like cheap tickets for example, as he/we don't often get to go to games. And then of course there's the street parade when we win the championship at the end of next season too. ;););):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
