No specific illness as such, just old age. It's the second time this has happened in the last couple of months and this time she looked even more frail than last. I think we're in for a difficult time ahead
Great post by the way tweets, I think we share the same outlook :T

Hope my pics don't end up stretching everything, if they do will have to delete.
Here's my first crop of the year, enough to be shared out between 3!So here's what I do to make my crumble.
Peel rhubarb, chop into pieces, if you wash it make sure it's completely dry as it will have too much liquid when cooked.
I put mine straight in one of those rathercheap T's dishes with the lids some time back. Sprinkle with some sugar. If you don't have lid with dish, cover with foil.
Bake with lid on for 15 mins before putting crumble mix on top, mixing half way through.
Now for the interesting crumble bit -
Take one bag of smart price sponge mix. (filler item)
Add about the same quantity in plain flour.
Add enough butter (doesn't actually take that much) to rub the dry mix into a crumble mix - I usually just do this by feel. (I actually used some home made butter that I made from cheap whopsied double cream at chrimbo.)
Even with no added sugar, this mix is fairly sweet, but I then added a small amount of brown sugar just to give crumble a crunch.
I know this sounds crazy, but it really worked. :T
Had loads of crumble for the top of the fruit this way, just the way my DS likes it, at a fraction of the usual cost.
Just thought i'd let you see the results of this. It's yummy too0 -
Not nice is it but this thread helps you to cope.
I still have to pluck up courage to get DTD on meat i stand there looking but never tried.
What's a Santander card please ?
I bank with Santander and got a current account.
When i asked about a water meter i got told it would cost me £10 a month more so i said i wouldn't bother .
I like my job and the kitchen i am in now.
Trouble is i could get transferred without notice to an awful kitchen and cant do a thing about it.
Hi tweets, check with your water company again. I got my meter installed - 2 adults in the house and saved a fair amount of money. The company also gave me 18 months in which to change my mind if I wished to go back to the old method of payment. I didn't of course as saved a bit of money.;)0 -
